Know what your workforce problems are costing you — and what to fix first.
A plain-language Workforce Risk Assessment for Alberta contractors. We use your records and the people who do the work to put real numbers on turnover, short crews and safety gaps.
Phone call. No cost. No obligation.
- 1
Intake
You fill in a short questionnaire and send the records we ask for. We confirm sites and dates.
- 2
In the field
Private interviews with leaders and foremen. An anonymous worker survey. Site walks. A review of your safety program, training and HR records.
- 3
Findings
Every risk scored the same way, with a cost attached. We walk your leadership through the results and build the plan with you.
The costs that never show up on a job cost report
Good hands walk off mid-project. New hires quit in the first month. Foremen get promoted for their skill with the tools and are never shown how to lead a crew. Toolbox talks get signed but not heard.
Every one of these costs you money — in recruiting, overtime, rework, incidents and WCB premiums. Most contractors know it is happening. Few know what it adds up to, or where to start.
What you get

- A leadership debrief meeting
- A 90-day follow-up check to measure what changed
Built for contractors who want to fix it in-house
Alberta industrial and construction contractors with 20 or more field workers, dealing with turnover, crew shortages or safety performance — who want their own people to run the fix, not rent a program.
It is not a fit if you only want a report for the shelf, or if workers will not be allowed to answer honestly.
Your workers' answers stay private
Workers answer anonymously, by scanning a QR code on a site poster. You see results only for groups of five or more — never one person's answers. That is how you get the truth instead of what people think you want to hear.
What it is not
It is not a COR audit, an OHS inspection or legal advice. We do not promise savings we cannot control. We show you where the money and the risk are, and what to do about it.
Built by someone who has worked the tools
Joseph M Ganczar is a triple Red Seal journeyman — Ironworker, Welder and Structural Steel Plate Fitter — with more than 20 years in industrial construction and fabrication, and a Blue Seal in Business Management. He has seen from the field what drives good hands away, and what makes them stay.
Questions
How long does it take?
About 4 to 6 weeks from signing to the debrief, depending on the number of sites.
How much time does it take from my crews?
About 10–15 minutes per worker for the survey, plus 30–60 minutes for each interview. We work around your schedule.
What does it cost?
A fixed price based on crew size and number of sites. You get the price in writing before anything starts.
Will my workers be honest?
The survey is anonymous and collected by us, not by your foremen. That is what makes the answers useful.
What happens after?
You own the report and the plan. If you want help building the fixes in-house, we can talk about that — there is no obligation.
Do you work outside Edmonton?
Yes, across Alberta. Travel is quoted up front.
